Savvy Sounds was founded by Miles DiPaola — a DJ, MC, and producer who grew up in Cuba, New York with a dad who kept crates of records and a house full of music. He picked up trumpet and guitar first. The moment he touched turntables, everything clicked.

He cut his teeth in Buffalo's club scene, opened for Laidback Luke at Mixmag Lab LA, played Hard Summer, and eventually moved to Los Angeles to build something bigger. Fifteen years full-time behind the decks — including an ongoing residency at the Delta One Lounge at LAX, activations for New Balance and the LA Marathon, and events for Sony Pictures, Veuve Clicquot, and YouTube Theater.

Savvy Sounds Collective was built to bring that same craft — refined but never restrained — to every event we touch.
